As a youth hockey coach I watch players skills grow tremendously each year because of the amount of repetitions they do in practice throughout the season. My job as a coach is to ensure the players get those repetitions, the maximum amount possible per hour of practice. When they get that, they get better! Pretty simple. As long as they are doing the reps correctly. But we often don't see this kind of diligence in our churches today, like we see in youth sports. That's why we have such a small number of people contending for the faith (Rev. 12:17). Most professed Christians these days are simply too unskilled to compete because their coach/pastor has not done his job in providing the instruction.
Sure, many attend church every Sunday, but are they being trained to handle the Word of God or do they just passively sit there listening to some sort of feel good sermon? How many churches do you know that actually teach the Bible chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse? Not many. Listening to one of those feel good sermons is equivalent to showing up to hockey practice, sitting on the ice, and never doing any of the drills. What good would that do? Since it is Christmas, the time of year when we reflect upon and celebrate the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ, I thought it would be a great idea to zoom in on the genealogies of Jesus. There are two of them. Two similar but different family lines, one in Matthew 1, and the other in Luke 3. But why are there two genealogies of Jesus? Read More…

In part 1 we began reading through the 7 sermons Jesus gave to the 7 churches, and we found out that Jesus evaluated each church by its works, not by faith alone and grace alone. Faith alone and grace alone is step #1 to get saved. After that, God expects us to work, to produce good fruits for the kingdom. Those that do will receive many rewards, and those who don’t risk losing everything, even eternal life. Read More…

(Topical Study) The danger of the once saved always saved teaching is that it leads believers into complacency by giving them a false hope. All overcomers are saved people, but not all saved people will overcome. When you believe and are saved, you've only taken the first step. Now you must demonstrate that faith and overcome.

(Topical Study) Our new logo is picture of a cross turning into a sword. Now why would we pick something like this? Well, the obvious reason is that in many places the Word of God is likened to a sharp sword. And since we teach the Word, chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse, I thought this symbol illustrated our ministry well. But there is a lot more to this... Read More…

(The Christian Post) Dave Ramsey has urged pastors to refrain from preaching sermons about tithing "to broke people" — unless they first address debt and budgeting from the pulpit.
During a recent interview, the CEO of Ramsey Solutions and author of Financial Peace University, said that he regularly tells pastors to stop stressing the importance of tithing to congregants who aren't good stewards of their money.
"Unless," he clarified, "you've done two sermons on ... debt — one on getting out of debt and one on getting on a budget."
"That's the ratio for me instead of just tithe, tithe, tithe," he said. But when pastors fail to address debt and setting a budget, he said, the reaction to a sermon about tithing is often "yeah right, I've got a light bill. That's a great spiritual concept. Maybe someday I'll get around to that.'"
Getting out of debt leads to giving, the financial expert said, "Because if you're out of debt and on a budget and you love Jesus, I think tithing is a natural thing that occurs."
Still, Ramsey detailed his "incredible love of pastors," describing most of them as "underappreciated" and "underpaid," adding that pastors "could take that same skill set in the marketplace in most cases and make more money."
In an address delivered at the Southern Baptist Convention's annual meeting in June, Ramsey told pastors: "When you stand up in front of your congregation, you're looking at a large number of people who do not have the ability to handle their money."
"Quit preaching tithe lessons to broke people," he said. "Let's teach them how to get on a budget. ... The natural byproduct of a Jesus lover when they have money is giving."

It’s that time of year again when the Flu Shot bullies are in full effect telling you that you MUST get vaccinated. They’ll surround you and say, “If you don’t allow us to put this into your body you could cause your neighbors, co-workers, family, and friends to get sick and die!” Wow. Talk about fear mongering. Do they even know what’s in these shots? Have they considered what God thinks about vaccinations? What does the Bible say about injecting unclean things into our bodies? Besides, if vaccinations were so reliable, then anyone who doesn’t want to get the flu and die can get their own vaccination shot. Right? Why force this upon healthy people who do not want it.
[Not only do Flu shots contain various questionable chemicals like Mercury & Formaldehyde, they use pork-based gelatin as a stabilizer. Pigs are unclean animals and unfit for consumption according to Leviticus 11:7]
The Left talks so much about a ‘woman’s right to choose’ but when it comes to vaccinations the Left doesn’t care about a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body. They say,“Just shut up and get the shot.”
A bit hypocritical and immoral isn’t it? You have the choice to murder an unborn child but you don't have the choice to get a 'flu shot'?
More than that. It’s kind of scary. If the government or an employer can force you to inject things into your body you don’t want, what else can they force you to do? Isn’t this why we have a Constitution and Bill of Rights limiting the powers of government and protecting individual freedom? Isn’t this why we fought against the Nazi’s in WWII?
When you do the research you’ll find out that most vaccines contain things considered by the Bible to be UNCLEAN. Many vaccines are made of or from fetuses or eggs of unclean creatures, from the blood of diseased animals, or from animals that have died by themselves (Deuteronomy 14:21). And some vaccines are even made of or from aborted babies! How can injecting materials made from the murder of innocent babies NOT be a spiritual violation of God’s Word? (Possibly bringing with it curses upon the body’s physical, mental, and spiritual health) Of course it is, but most don’t have any idea what they are putting into their bodies. They just take it because they are bullied into it. If they knew, then it would be the equivalent of saying you are a Christian but you believe in Child sacrifice for the benefit of society.
Even the AAPS - Association of American Physicians and Surgeons - says:
"Many hospitals are requiring physicians to take the annual flu vaccine. This is not because it helps patients, but because hospitals get a tiny increase in reimbursements if the entire staff is vaccinated. Lobbyists for Big Pharma probably put this reimbursement boost into law to sell more of their product. AAPS does not take a position on the annual flu vaccine, but we do take a position in favor of individual freedom to decline it. Fortunately, hospitals are supposed to recognize a religious exemption, and vaccines are not kosher under some interpretations of the Bible."
The AAPS even provides an "Exemption from Hospital Vaccine Mandate" template letter for doctors and medical personal whose conscience compels them to refuse vaccination because of Religious convictions. This is a great letter not only providing documentation summarizing the Biblical commands against putting unclean things into your body, but it also appears to be written in way that leverages the law in your favor. The US Constitution prohibits the government from forcing you to put things into your body without your consent. There is nothing in the Constitution that provides this kind of coercive government power.
In the letter the AAPS cites 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 & 6:19 as the main New Testament scriptural text against defiling the body with unclean substances:
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are...What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
And concludes their letter by saying:
"The mandated vaccine, with its numerous additives and its mechanism for altering my body, is the equivalent of a prohibited “unclean food” that causes harm to my conscience. Vaccines to me are analogous to what non-kosher food is to orthodox Jews, and no one requires anyone in the United States to consume a substance contrary to their faith. Medical experts may assert that non-kosher food and vaccines are completely healthy, but religious faith compels certain individuals to decline their consumption. I am one of those individuals."
“Thus my faith prohibits me from being vaccinated as proposed. State law and the U.S. Constitution recognize my right to object to consuming something – this vaccine – because it violates my faith. Therefore I respectfully assert my religious objection to this vaccination.”
My friends, the experts can come up with all of their hand picked studies saying that vaccines are harmless, but guess what, they didn’t create our bodies. God did. And He knows what’s good for them and what’s not. So I’ll trust Him rather than taking my chances with the so-called experts within the medical establishment and BIG PHARMA.
