The Vatican gives its blessing to the Beast

| October 26, 2011

Even though our Lord Jesus Christ warned us long ago not to accept the mark of the beast or to submit to a world government (Rev 13), leaders of one of the largest Christian denominations, Roman Catholic, comprising of about 1.1 billion members worldwide (about 50% of all Christians) actually gave their blessing to “the beast” on Monday by calling for a “global public authority” to regulate international finance.

They said that,

With due respect for the competent civil and political authorities, the Council hereby offers and shares its reflection: Towards reforming the international financial and monetary systems in the context of global public authority. (Note on financial reform from the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace.)

What? Haven’t they ever read the Bible!

Because if they had, with understanding, they would know that giving this kind of power to a global authority is a very dangerous thing. And not only is it dangerous, but it also prepares the way for the arrival of the Antichrist (Daniel 7).

(Audio teaching of entire book of Daniel is available on CD)

And before you think that this is just an anti-Catholic article, it is not. For it is also true that many Protestant denominations give their blessings to Worldwide Socialism as well. For Sunday after Sunday Christians from many different denominations around the world gather together to hear messages that promote redistribution of wealth. They call it a “Social Gospel” but I call it what it really is, the “Doctrine of Karl Marx”.

The same doctrine that many “Occupy Wall Street” protestors adhere to.

Oh, I know some staunch church supporters will say that the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace doesn’t represent the official stance of the church. But what do they make of Pope Benedict XVI’s document on Social Justice, Caritas In Veritate?

In this document Benedict makes many anti-capitalist / pro-globalist statements, including these words:

In the face of the unrelenting growth of global interdependence, there is a strongly felt need, even in the midst of a global recession, for a reform of the United Nations Organization, and likewise of economic institutions and international finance, so that the concept of the family of nations can acquire real teeth. One also senses the urgent need to find innovative ways of implementing the principle of the responsibility to protect[146] and of giving poorer nations an effective voice in shared decision-making. This seems necessary in order to arrive at a political, juridical and economic order which can increase and give direction to international cooperation for the development of all peoples in solidarity. To manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result; to bring about integral and timely disarmament, food security and peace; to guarantee the protection of the environment and to regulate migration: for all this, there is urgent need of a true world political authority, as my predecessor Blessed John XXIII indicated some years ago.

Pretty alarming so far isn’t it? Let’s continue reading.

Such an authority would need to be regulated by law, to observe consistently the principles of subsidiarity and solidarity, to seek to establish the common good[147], and to make a commitment to securing authentic integral human development inspired by the values of charity in truth. Furthermore, such an authority would need to be universally recognized and to be vested with the effective power to ensure security for all, regard for justice, and respect for rights[148]. Obviously it would have to have the authority to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties, and also with the coordinated measures adopted in various international forums. Without this, despite the great progress accomplished in various sectors, international law would risk being conditioned by the balance of power among the strongest nations. The integral development of peoples and international cooperation require the establishment of a greater degree of international ordering, marked by subsidiarity, for the management of globalization[149]. They also require the construction of a social order that at last conforms to the moral order, to the interconnection between moral and social spheres, and to the link between politics and the economic and civil spheres, as envisaged by the Charter of the United Nations.

In other words, Pope Benedict is saying that capitalism is insufficient and that we need to create a WORLD GOVERNMENT that will ensure PEACE and PROSPERITY to all.

But there are many problems with this, and being the leader of half of the world’s Christians surely you would think the Pope would be aware of them. The main problem is that people from all different religions cannot band together to create their own utopia on earth. It just will not work. Remember what happened to those who built the “Tower of Babel”? (See Gen 11:1-9)

God simply will not allow man to achieve his own salvation.

And besides, hasn’t the Pope and other Christian leaders who dream about a socialist utopia on earth ever read about how the Antichrist comes into power? Surely as Christians we should be aware of this.

The Antichrist comes into power by promising Peace and Prosperity to all (Daniel 11:21, etc.)

I’ll tell you what. Seeing all of this and knowing what’s being taught in a great majority of our churches today, it isn’t too hard to imagine most professing Christians being deceived into worshipping the Antichrist when he appears, along with the rest of the world (2 Thess 2:3, Rev 13:8). They’re already giving him their blessings. And not only that, but they are actually helping to carve out his image! (Rev 13:14)
