Killing Christ-mas

| December 20, 2011

“Therefore the LORD Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” –Isaiah 7:14

Being interpreted, Immanuel means: “God with us”.

In other words, this was a prophecy of God coming to earth in the flesh, just like you and I, to save us from sin and from all the power of our enemies (Luke 1:71). Think about that for a moment when you complain about how rough your life is. Because I assure you, during His time here on earth He experienced much more pain and sorrow than we’ve ever experienced.

God leads by example. He would never require us to do something that He would not first do Himself. This is something that our leaders in Washington DC could take note of.

(See Isa 9:6 and Heb 2:14)

You see Jesus Christ wasn’t simply a prophet, or just a wise teacher among a list of other wise sages like those promoting “diversity” and “equality” would have you believe. There is no one equal to Him.

He was God Himself, the Alpha and Omega.

And His coming to earth, starting out as just a little baby was the greatest event in all of world history. Nothing even compares to it.

It was an event of such great magnitude that angels were coming and going to deliver various messages, including messages from the archangel Gabriel himself. Signs were being displayed in the heavens, a special star appeared in the sky, and a great light radiated down from heaven upon a group of shepherds just before the appearance of an heavenly host came singing praises to God.

Needless to say it was a great time of joy and happiness.

But it didn’t take long before the dragon would try and stop this wonderful celebration (Rev 12:4).

For the powers of the dragon, i.e. the serpent’s seed, under the direction of king Herod sought to murder the baby Jesus immediately after He was born. But upon failure of acquiring baby Jesus from the wise men, Herod became “exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under” (Matt 2:16).

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not. –Matthew 2:17-18

Rachel was a wife of Jacob, and here she represents “Mother Israel” crying out for the loss of her children. Could you imagine experiencing something as horrible as this? Seeing all of these innocent babies being butchered by this wicked king? Worse yet, having your own little baby boy murdered right in front of you?

I couldn’t begin to imagine how horrible this must have been.

But from this you can see the deep hatred Satan and his children have for Christ. I mean they were willing to do anything to try and stop Him, and guess what? They are still willing to do whatever they can to stop Him today.

(See the Book of Esther for details -Available on CD or DVD)

You see the Dragon and his seed will not stop until they are utterly defeated (Gen 3:15). Do you ever wonder why year after year there is always a strange hatred against Christmas? And have you ever wondered why it’s perfectly ok now to talk about Kwanzaa and other pagan holidays but nativity scenes are often banned on public and sometimes even on private property?

It’s because the wicked ancestors of those impostors who claimed to be of the tribe of Judah, but who were not (See Rev 2:9 and Rev 3:9), are still alive and well today. Yes the ancestors of those who proclaimed in unison these words:

“Let His blood be on us, and on our children.” –Matthew 27:25

You see since the enemies of Christ do not yet have the power to kill Christmas or destroy Christianity outright, they use other more subtle methods of attack as well. Such as:

1. Take away the true meaning of Christmas by commercializing it.

2. Promote “Diversity” to dethrone Christmas as America’s official holiday and place it on a level equal with holidays such as Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and the pagan Winter Solstice celebration. They figure if they can water it down enough eventually it will just go away.

3. Belittle Christ by mockery. For example, watch this disgusting skit from Saturday Night Live mocking Jesus and Tim Tebow.

That’s why when we walk in our children’s schools today, like I just did the other day, we see signs up on the wall that say, “We Celebrate Diversity”. And this is why when we turn the dial on our TV during Christmas season that we see holiday special after “holiday” special filled with emotionalism concerning someone’s personal life or some ridiculous Santa Clause movie, but rarely do we ever see anything about Christ.

My friend, if these Christ killers are bold enough to try and murder God himself, there’s no telling what else they’d be willing to do. Therefore we must not let them take even an inch away from the true meaning of Christmas, because if we surrender an inch they will take a mile.

Stand up and be a Christian Overcomer!

Merry Christmas to you all 🙂

(Note: I am aware that Christ’s birth actually took place sometime in September during the Feast of Tabernacles and that December 25th was rather the day of conception, However Christmas is still a wonderful day of celebration for all of Christendom as we celebrate together the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ)
