According to an article recently published by IsraelNationalNews.com, U.S. President Barack Obama reportedly gave Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a copy of the Book of Esther in honor of the Jewish holiday, Purim, which was celebrated by Jews on March 8th of this year.

During that interview Netanyahu drew a parallel between his nation’s situation with Iran and that of the narrative of the Book Esther where a man named “Haman” supposedly wanted to destroy Esther, Mordecai, and all of the Jews.

However, if one looks closely at this book, it’s not what it seems to be at all. It’s not an honorable story about God’s people being saved from their enemies.

It’s rather a book centered around bloodthirsty murder, revenge, and hatred. In fact, the name of Almighty God is never once mentioned in this book! And the holiday Purim, in which this book is centered around, was not a holiday in which God ever commanded His people to observe. Purim was actually instituted by those whom our Lord Jesus Christ warned us about in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 when He said,

“I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”

My friend, the Book of Esther reveals to us the hidden plots and plans of the enemies of Christianity and Freedom and exactly how they plan to establish their New World Order. And beloved, they are carrying these plans out, to the letter, even as I write.

Are you familiar with the preposterous plot of this book?

If not, we have done a whole series of studies explaining these things. This entire series on Esther is available on CD or DVD from our study list. Or you can watch them on YouTube. I’ve embedded the video for Chapter 1 below the outline of this book. Enjoy!

God bless,
Pastor Ben Heath

  1. Pastor what are your thoughts in this new thing of worship on Saturday because Saturday is the 7th day of rest, instead of Sunday. does it really make a different?

  2. what do you mean by moderation

  3. Hi Colleen, I’m not sure what you are asking when you say “What do you mean by moderation”. Did I say this in a particular video? And if so what was the context? If you’re asking whether or not we are supposed to be “lukewarm” or a “moderate” in our beliefs then I would say absolutely not. We are to be the “salt” of the earth. However, at the same time we should do our utmost to retain our credibility with others.

  4. In Biblical times there was no such thing as “Saturday” or “Sunday”. The names of the days of the week that we use now are actually days named after pagan gods such as the “Sun god” and the god “Saturn”. The spirit of the Law is that we take one day out of seven to rest from fleshly labors and devote some time to God and Family. However, I believe every day resting in Christ is better than just one day a week don’t you?

    Thanks and God bless 🙂

Interesting video. I will research all that you talk about. It is of course a serious thing to challenge one of the books in the canon. I mean to challenge the canon itself, but yes this book now does look suspicious to me and you are provoking thoughts. I used to like this book too. I am now perplexed.

Anyway I know a lot of Amerikan Christians seem to talk about end times and revelation and so on. That is fine but I have been getting into the book Victorious Eschatology, and also the author David Chilton. I don’t deny conspiracy but they said that Revelation or much of it ended in 70AD with the Roman smashing of Israel. That makes sense because Jesus said “this generation will not pass away.. and the people must flee from Judea. Pray it is not on the Sabbath”. I want to mention one more thing.. people speak of the Anti-Christ all the time. That is taken from the letters of John, and means one who denies Christ came in the flesh, meaning anti-christs are sort of gnostic type “christians”. They do exist today, but John never says these “anti-christs” will demand to be worshipped or create a one world gov. I think this concept is being conflated with the beast and abomination of desolation (which may have been the armies around Jerusalem). Just food for thought. God bless
