ABOUT US

Motivated by a deep passion to understand and share truth, Pastor Ben Heath launched Saturday evening Bible Studies for Minnesota residents in 1997 at age 20. He enlisted with the Minnesota Army National Guard in 2001 shortly after the attacks on September 11 and deployed to Iraq (2006–2007) with the 34th Infantry Division as a .50 Cal Machine Gunner. There he conducted numerous missions along the Euphrates River across the Anbar Province and Baghdad. During that deployment he began leading a line-by-line Bible Study group with fellow soldiers.

Shortly after returning home to Princeton, MN, he started a ministry known as Christian Overcomers.

Today, Christian Overcomers is one of the few book-by-book, chapter-by-chapter, and verse-by-verse ministries around that is unwilling to soften the message of the Gospel for fear of offending people.

Pastor Ben Heath’s direct, no-nonsense approach to understanding the Bible is not meant to offend but rather to equip believers with the knowledge they need to overcome the great deceptions surrounding us.

If you're here looking for our Statement of Faith, it can be found in both the Old and New Testaments, called the Holy Bible. We simply believe and teach every word of it to the best of our ability; it is our official statement of faith. We hope and pray this site will be a blessing to you.

God bless & Be A Christian Overcomer!

BELIEVING IS ONLY THE FIRST STEP

The modern church gives us the perception that being a Christian is super easy. In fact, most sermons we hear boil down to one phrase - “all you have to do is believe”. That’s pie in the sky Christianity my friends. While it’s true that you can’t earn your own way to heaven by good deeds and that grace is a free gift, it’s NOT true that being a Christian is easy. Once you take the “free gift” of grace, the challenge begins, just like it did with the Israelites after they were saved from Pharaoh. Next came testing in the wilderness and a war to conquer the promised land.

Will you complete the mission?
